Winter’s Beans

Creator Journals 1/25/25

Consistency has been a lot harder for me since I started my new job, but I hope to get the hang of it soon. I’ll refrain from making any promises as of yet. But I have been working on something fun.

Speaking of fun; January is the season of gaming. So far I’ve played through Mario Galaxy and Final Fantasy Tactics: Ivalice Chronicles. Man am I glad I gave Ivalice Chronicles a chance. The story and the gameplay were amazing and that ending was both haunting and thought provoking.
Today, I’ll probably start playing the new expansion to Cult of the Lamb, an amazing rogue-like with a sort of spooky/dark animal crossing element to it.

I’m also becoming more of a coffee nut. I was gifted a stove-top espresso maker for Christmas and now I’ve got a bean grinder and a bunch of cute little cups sitting in my amazon shopping cart. My finger is hovering over the purchase button like a threat. 

No writing for me today, but I’m excited to get back on it tomorrow!

Today’s writing tip: Never be discouraged. Even if you have failed to accomplish what you set out to do, try again. Don’t waste time beating yourself up. There is no benefit in it.
