Kinda Tired

Creator Journals 9/9/25

I released chapter 2 to my beta readers today. It was an off day. I slept till 11 and I’m still tired. I think I need a Sleep Week, where all I do is sleep. I might have enough PTO saved up to make that a reality, but with my luck, I’d probably spent the whole week with a strange case of insomnia.

My beta readers are all giving me really helpful comments, so, if you’re out there reading this, “Thanks!”

I’ll probably get some work in on The Kingdom’s Disdain tomorrow, provided work doesn’t tap me out. I’ve also got a homebrew D&D game to run this weekend, which probably needs some pre-writing.

I hope you are less busy than me, dear reader. I hope you are less tired than I am, but feeling equally fulfilled.

Onward, to the promised land of finished projects! I know it’s real. It has to be real.

Today’s writing tip: Don’t make all of your characters think the same way. People’s mental processes are incredibly unique. If you let your readers realize all of these characters are coming from the same creative mind, it’s over!

Processing…
Success! You're on the list.
