A poem inspired by The Muse of Cold Earth.
Eclipse
Built up like a jackhammer
The sun creeps across an onyx floor
Gagging the call for restraint
Luna is swallowed up in the jaws of
A hungry wolf
Trust no one, lest they trust in you
For surely, a righteous man once walked here
The sun is at his worst when he winks through a chasm
Forget me not
But remember
The dark dreams of that day

Sometimes I get so nostalgic for the worst times, ya know?
