Sunday Immortality

Creator Journals 2/8/26

Been stuck in one place all day for reasons. I watched “Highlander” for the first time, and they really do say “There can only be one!” a lot. Clancy Brown stole the show as the villain. Not my favorite movie, but the soundtrack was amazing and I’m glad I watched it. I realized that in my fantasy world, there are probably a lot of cases where an elven partner might outlive a human. I should probably explore that somewhere, but it’s pretty depressing, so not right now.

Bru-Nack the Giant and his Eternal Stew: A Comedy in 7 Tragedies does explore that a little bit. If you haven’t read it, I recommend doing so. It’s written by my very talented friend Charles Cannon, and it’s set in the same universe as Vulture Tales and The Kingdom’s Disdain. It was released several years ago, but I think it’s worth bringing up again.

I hope I can get back into regular blogging. That’s one of my main goals for the week. A lot of my goals haven’t been working out lately, but I have a good feeling about this one.

Do you feel good about it?

Today’s writing tip: Think about something you’ve never thought about before. It’s good for your brain.
