Creator Journals 1/5/25
Long time no see. Like, very long time no see. I’ve been very busy over the holidays, but it’s all been life stuff and not really writing stuff. After releasing Eversolstice (Buy it. Read it. Rate it!) I decided to step back a bit. There were a handful of holidays, a job change (which I’m still dealing with) and a death in the family. But, I’m back now. I think. I’m back right now, at least.
So, what’s my next project? I’m tempted by the siren song of writing more Vulture Tales, but I think I’ve neglected The Kingdom’s Disdain for a bit too long. As of today, right now, I’m going to begin work on a full revision of the first book, a second edition, if you will. I’ve been wanting to go back over it and punch up the writing just a bit, since I initially wrote and released the thing waaay back in 2020. There may also be just a little bit of new content added on, so, if you’re new to the series OR if you’re an old fan, stay tuned, there will be fun and surprises for all!
Now go forth and enjoy the waning of the holidays, before they pass away once again into the cycle of rebirth.
Today’s writing tip: Do everything you can to avoid making it a chore. Make it a feast! A celebration!
