My Lock-In Drink

Creator Journals 11/20/25

Late afternoon coffee mixed with hot coco. For the third time this week. This seems to be my lock-in drink.

I’m finding a lot of success in my smaller, personal projects. I’ve also been setting up for Eversolstice for a while. The first main section really needed some pre-writing and character building, but once I’m done that part, the rest should flow pretty quickly.

After Christmas, I hope I’ll make some time to finish some of my dangling projects. “Circles” has been on the back burner for a while, and I hope it isn’t getting crispy by now. I also have a draft 0 of Beach Knight to send to some, and a Beta draft to send to others. I’ve got a lot to do, so I must stop making new projects for a while.

We’ll see how good I end up sticking to that . . .

Somebody lock me up and lock me into all these projects.

Today’s writing tip: Try to reduce your ingenious story to five sentences. See if it still makes sense. Go!

Success! You're on the list.
