Creator Journals 11/18/25
I just finished writing for the day, and I feel satisfied. Time to let go.
I’ve been working on “Locking in” the last two days. Making myself hot coco, sitting my butt down and writing until I’m done. On better days, I can just write and I don’t have to force myself to “Lock in” but recently locking in has been a requirement. I don’t really like it, but I think it’s a very necessary skill. I got a lot done today! I worked on a few separate projects and even did all my dishes.
Now, tonight, I have to run a game of Call of Cthulhu (Hopefully the last one for a while. This was supposed to be a one-shot, but the players have been dragging their feet)
Just a little bit of caffeine in the afternoon seems like an effective fix, but how long will that work? I’m on borrowed time.
I went a whole day without getting back in bed. Yay me!
Today’s writing tip: Don’t get back in bed until you’re done writing. Trust me.
