Creator Journals 11/5/25
Today was a crazy day at work. I got a little personal writing done, but there are some wild changes going on, and they ended up letting me go home early, so I sat in a Starbucks to do my writing. I got a lot of words done on a personal project (one that I won’t be sharing).
A lot of major changes may be coming in my life. I’m kind of okay with that, since a lot of things have stayed the same for several years, and I thrive off novelty. I don’t know if all the changes will be good or bad, but I know I’m going to do my best to make them good.
I’m also beginning to wonder what I really need to do in order to get my books out there. All the advice I find is very abstract. Build a platform. Reach out to influencers? It all kind of feels like trying to light a cigarette on a windy day. Things just don’t seem to catch the way I hope they will. But I can make that its own quest. I can learn to catch fire. I can make that the next big step.
I can become inflammable.
Today’s writing tip: Try something totally new every now and then. It could help give you a new perspective.
