Creator Journals 10/13/25
I got a haircut today and I don’t hate it. Haircut used to always make me feel weird, but I think I’ve locked down a style that I feel sort of comfortable with.
Off day. Took me all afternoon to revise chapter 3. I still feel like it could get better, but I’m trying to release this in October, so I’m ignoring that part of my brain for now. I still think it’s pretty good. I added more internal monologue which helped me feel more comfortable with the way Vulture was being depicted.
The next chapter starts to get into the meat of the plot a bit more, so I’m excited for that.
The last couple of days, I talked a lot about meditating and facing your demons; how doing that stuff can help make your story better. Well, I’ve been putting that off. I think there are some elements of the world and myself I need to interface with a lot more, but I keep being busy.
I think that business is a subconscious choice, and maybe I need to work on it.

Today’s writing tip: Associate writing with fun things that make you happy. Write in your favorite chair. Drink your favorite drink. Make it a positive experience.
