It was cooler today, and the sidewalk was strewn with Fall leaves.
I finished chapter 9 today. That means I have one more to write and then a crap-load of revision. I’m still trying to figure out everything I want to change, but it will take quite a bit of work to get this thing market-ready.
As much as I love the Fall and the Halloween Season, I also tend to get a bit restless during October. Sometimes weird or bad things tend to happen to my life in October, so I guess I might be a little more on-edge. I think having a story to focus on helps with that.
I want this story to be spooky, and funny, and heartwarming, and maybe a little bit heartbreaking. Vulture means a lot to me, and I want the world to see her. No. I need the world to see her, in all her morally complicated, hopeless and hope-inspiring glory!
May the scavengers feast and enjoy good things!
Today’s writing tip: Make up a word and see if you can sneak it in without anyone noticing. C’mon. Do it.
