Vulture Hits a Snag

Creator Journals 10/4/25

Had to get a lot of errands and cleaning done today, because my wife and I are going on a weekend trip. For the first time, I might not get the chance to finish my chapter in a day. That’s okay, I think, since I only have two chapters left and October is just starting.

I ran into a bit of a snag where the plotting on my outline got hazy. I need to solve a few logic problems, and I’m not really good at doing that when I’m writing this fast.

Still, I think I can confidently say that I’ll have something to share with you all on the 31st. A fun little mini-novel introducing one of my favorite characters. I kind of hope this one does well, because that will give me an excuse to write about Vulture as much as I want, and I do want.

Have a restful weekend, but keep that fire burning inside you!

Today’s writing tip: When you get stuck, slow down. Look around your fictional scene and see what’s going on around you. Describe some of it. Give your characters a moment to think.

Success! You're on the list.
