Full steam ahead!
Chapter four complete! I should be done my rough draft during the first week of October if not sooner. That should give me plenty of time to get a cover and revise. I may even have time to revise a few more chapters of Beach Knight before November! 2k words a day is a lot, but I think it will be worth it in the end. This is weight training.
This story is set in a different region of the world than Kingdom’s Disdain or Beach Knight, so I’m having to figure out some different terminology, culture and religious practices. One of the characters in this story is a priest, so I’m having to determine what a priest in Duma might act and dress like. I’m trying to blend a sort of Hindu aesthetic with the look of the medieval catholic priesthood. Should be fun.
Making things up is what fantasy is!
