Creator Journals 9/26/25
I’ve completed three chapters of “The Cause of Death” Six more to go! It will probably need a substantial amount of revision, but I’ve got time. I’m still trying to figure out my character’s voice. Also, I was writing in a pretty comedic tone when I wrote “Beach Knight” while I want this to be a little bit more serious/eerie.
Man. That was a lot of writing. Doubling my daily word count is definitely an uphill battle. My eyes and fingers are tired.
What else?
I need to design a cover. This story is fantasy/horror so I’m not really sure what direction to go in. It’s easy to get premade covers with skulls and bones on them, but I’ve already done a lot of skulls for The Kingdom’s Disdain. Maybe some spooky magic sygils.
I don’t have anything else to say right now.
Today’s writing tip: Make sure you have enough plot points to match your intended word count. No one wants to read filler.
