September is nearing its end. Soon it will truly be October. October 2025. Wow.
I got insanely exhausted yesterday. That aside, I would like to get to the point where I can easily grind out 2k words a day before I start “The Cause of Death” so I’m trying to fill in a lot of the blanks I left in “Circles”
Circles is feeling maybe a bit heavier than the other books in the series. I’m not sure if that works or not. I’ll need to finish and wait for some reader feedback. I think the things that I’m trying to say with Trog’s character; about mental health, alcoholism, attachment and loss, border on pushing the boundaries for what is normal in a fantasy adventure series. But I want to say what I want to say.

Today’s writing tip: When writing a character’s POV, try to prioritize describing the things that they would care most about and be most focused on.
