I almost forgot! I almost forgot! I almost forgot! I was just about to put on a horror movie and drink vodka before bed and I could have missed the day! I would have lost my streak!
So, anyway, now that I’ve had my panic attack, updates on my writing; I worked on “Circles” today. I wrote a long flashback scene that I skipped over in the first draft. It’s going well, but my burn out is causing me to go just a tiny bit slower than I had originally hoped.
I’m also being haunted by the idea of grinding out and publishing a complete mini-novel before Halloween. I think I just might do it. You cannot stop me.
This story would follow a character I made up a while back and have been hoping to write a story about for a while. I had considered making her a protagonist in a longer novel, but I think she would be a fun lead for short, spooky adventures too.
So look forward to “The Cause of Death: A Necromancer’s Tale” this October. Probably.
Hopefully.
Today’s writing tip: Write on the days when it’s hard to write. Push forward anyway and your tiny muscles will grow.
