It Ends and Begins

Creator Journals 9/14/25

Had pumpkin spice three days in a row. That part of my life is good. But I am restless. I want to start working on new projects, but I’ve got a crap-load of Beach Knight to revise and a Kingdom’s Disdain book to finish. This is my problem. This is why I often have trouble finishing things. The seasons change. So do I. So does my taste. I long to dive head first into spooky things and piles of leaves. I want to drop everything and begin anew.

This too is vanity. This too shall pass. If I don’t follow a plan, I’ll never finish anything, games, books, projects, etc.

I guess I need to start watching more scary movies. I want the spirit of Halloween (not the costume store) to flow and speak through me.

But I have half a month to finish my summer things and begin my fall things.

I pray the transition is smooth.

Today’s writing tip: Be cryptic sometimes. People like mysteries. People love puzzles.
