Redemptive False Start

Creator Journals 9/11/25

The news is too loud today. Can’t get much of anything done. My business has caught up with me and my head is in a cloud.

I managed to do a little revision before the cloud consumed me. I went for a walk. I drank coffee and ate two meals. I played some games. Now I’m resting.

This day is what we now call a False Start. I didn’t get where I wanted to go or really do what I wanted to do.

However, I’m thinking, today would have been considered a success by the standards of six months ago. I actually did some revision, got out of bed, went on a walk. Today’s False Start is yesterday’s success. I want to take the time to be proud of how far I’ve come. I’d rather rest in that feeling than one of disappointment.

Look at how far you’ve come. Good job, guy!

Today’s writing tip: Even if it’s stupid, you can still write about it. Stupid things happen all the time in real life.

Processing…
Success! You're on the list.
