Creator Journals 8/17/25
No writing today. It is the day of rest. I think that lately, I’ve had trouble turning off Creative Mode: The high energy version of myself that feeds off inspiration and constantly wants to produce more. This version of me is super useful and fulfilling, but he’s kind of bad at having fun and relaxing. This can easily lead to burnout, and a weird, high-energy kind of depression. I’m trying to turn off writing mode by 3 every day if I can, and, of course, on Sundays.
I need to appreciate peace, quiet, videogames, and the supreme worth of existence for its own sake. These things keep me rooted, while the creation is more of a conquest.
That’s all I want to say today. No more writing.
Today’s writing tip: Have life experiences. Do crazy things. Go places. This will feed your creative self.
