Creator Journals 8/15/25
Today I was stuck at a place with no internet. Did I give up? No I did not! I grumbled a little, but then I opened my phone, sat, and wrote 2500 words, finishing chapter 9! There will probably be a lot of cleanup for that one, my phone tends to space text documents poorly and I think that a whole lot of nonsense words are real words (that’s definitely my fault) but I’m still very proud of what I’ve done.
The story is kind of consuming me. It’s the thing I’m most interested in now. I’m relating it to everything. I’m always wanting to talk about it. I’m obsessed. I need to finish this and stick the landing before I burn out in a white hot explosion. I haven’t written anything this long or that I was this proud of in a very long time.

Today’s writing tip: Say all your made up words out loud a few times before you commit to them. I’ve learned this the hard way.
