Creator Journals 8/14/25
2000 words written today! I also did a bunch of revision! Chapter 7 is with my first row of readers now. Chapter 9 is a little over halfway done. Things are going so well that I am now awaiting a disaster. A meteor is going to fall from the sky and somehow destroy my Google Docs.
Unfortunately, that’s how my mind works sometimes. When things are going well, my brain often invents a new enemy, or exaggerates a smaller issue. I’m trying to keep things at a slow, steady burn.
Beach Knight should be done in about 3 weeks, then I can sit on it for a while and write something else. I want to keep writing things. I want to maintain the strength I’ve built up. Maybe I’ll start sketching Who Wants to Live Forever in the fall!
Very tired, but full of passion.
Today’s writing tip: Write every day if you can. It’s like grinding EXP in a videogame.
