Chapter 7 of Beach Knight is complete in its roughest form possible. 10K words of me just trying to get from plot-point to plot point. In celebration of that fact, I thought I might just share some totally random text snippets with zero context and glue them to the chalk-board of my blog. Yep. That’s the idea I had today. I’m going to do it. I’m doing it now.
Quote 1
~“Take your ass and get your ass out of here!” He commanded in his booming dragon voice. The man hesitated. “Now!” commanded Ralgar.
The man shook his head, like he was waking up from a dream, then he ran out the door.~
Quote 2
~He walked over to the legs, took hold of them, and pulled. The first thing he discovered was that the legs were connected. They came with a torso which he also pulled up. He let go of the legs and took the torso, then he pulled, and he retrieved arms, a chest and shoulder, then finally the head, all connected. He dropped the complete humanoid collection of limbs on top of the hay. The upside-down face stared at him. “Why did you hold me like that?”~
Quote 3
~“Disgusting!” she shouted, “Poison!” Then she threw the apple on the ground. Ralgar laughed, confused.
“Oh you.”~
Quote 4
~At the end of the street, there were a bunch of muscular men wearing loincloths. They all stood in a line thrusting out their pelvises.
Ralgar stood and laughed at them for what felt like a long time, but the men only smiled back.~
So there you go. Unedited. Unfiltered. Have I whet your appetite? I hope so.
Enjoy this gift from me.
