Creator Journals 7/11/25
I’m going to see Superman tonight, and I’m pretty excited about that! It’s a warm, rainy day. I prefer warm rainy days to cold rainy days.
Beach Knight is coming along. Chapter 7 is very good so far. I think I’ve started to finally actually find my footing with this one. Who knows, it may end up being the length of a real fantasy novel! I think writing Beach Knight just about everyday has helped. I recommend it. Drill it into your DNA, like I did! I hope this streak keeps on!
I’ve been going on a lot of walks lately too. I can only hope that working on my physical energy will give me more power to write. I think it will.
I think in the future, I’m going to lean harder on my side characters. I’ve always been a fan of ensemble casts. Some people say you should only add the characters that the story calls for. I don’t agree. I think you should put in all the characters you want, and then come up with a plot that requires them.
I just made up Thefwin Peachwillow two days ago, but she’s already very important. And now she will always be important, forever. Maybe I’ll talk a bit more about Thefwin Peachwillow tomorrow.
