Creator Journals 6/16/25
Today I’m warding away my stress headaches by telling myself I’m not stressed.
Happy Monday everyone! It’s 6/16 and you know what that means! (No, you probably don’t. I experienced a personal trauma on this date over ten years ago, so the number still sticks out to me!)
Be that as it may, I’m having a very good day so far. I just finished my daily hour of writing, and today, I was determined to be more relaxed about it. I didn’t actually do anything different, I just said to myself “Writing for an hour isn’t a big deal” and I repeated that to myself several times, and voila! it wasn’t a big deal!
I’m nearly done with chapter 5, and I really like it so far. It probably has more lore and story than all the other chapters combined, though I do need to go over it after I’m done and make sure the tone fits the POV character well. That’s something I normally do in a second draft. I have strict guidelines when it comes to writing specific POVs, especially in stories with multiple main characters.
