I’ve had a lot more energy to be proactive with my writing lately. Over the last two years I was dealing with some things that kept me physically drained. I have the power to market a little bit now, but I’m trying not to overreach. Last year I had a fun story idea about a dragon-man who wears armor and protects The Beach, like he’s a knight and the beach is his liege lord. I mentioned it to some friends (and to my therapist?) and they all said it sounded fun, so I decided I should turn it into a book.
One thing led to another and now I’m diving head first into “Beach Knight: Hot Dragon Summer” an incredibly silly story about a dragon in armor who protects fantasy vacationers from all kinds of threats, be that seagulls or sea-monsters. I wrote my rough draft last year, but by the time I was done it was October, and this thing HAS to come out in the summer, so now I’m rushing myself to finish the novel before July. I’m giving myself two months to have this incredibly goofy 60k word novel complete and ready to sell. Wish me luck! 

If I can keep this heat and momentum going for the next two months, I should have something really special come July, provided I don’t overheat and collapse into a black hole.

I’d say there’s about a 56% chance of the black hole outcome.
