WD 217 “A Day in February”

A poem inspired by The Muse of Cold Earth.

A Day in February

Another day

Another chance for the sun to

Kiss you as it passes

Off center, tied with a ribbon to the stone that spins under you

Because it’s all yours

Wondering into forever

Fields of green

Cats and kittens

And you’re always at the height of your power

Causing numbers to rise

And your gravitational pull

Makes them all dance
