Shadow Kid
Blink and you’ll miss me
An afterimage on a polaroid camera
You see the fearful wince between a smile and a smirk
Optical illusion between two equidistant lines
It cuts a figure in the green negative space where you looked
Too close to the sun
A parameter for the definition of darkness
And the light of limitless horror shines through
