WD 96 “Displaced”

A poem inspired by The Muse of Cold Earth.

Displaced

You can see me in the snowfall

As a silhouette between descending diamonds

Groundswell, black ice

And I am in the slush also

There are many roads that go from point A to point Z

But I have taken the path of

Vapor

Transmigration

Can you see my eyes

Tell me what I did wasn’t the only way

A hand on a hand

A dark room

A surgery to remove the toxicity of hope
