Hello, I’m author, water-drinking advocate and unsuccessful Doom Eternal player Paul Lang, and this is my daily blog!
Writing is hard, am I right, boys? You open a blank document, you stare at it for five minutes, and you scream. Sometimes, you also type some words, but usually they’re nonsense words like gliabseyabvd or hububagiuuutyt. That’s how most of us experience writing, I’m certain of it.
As of right now, I have about 5 writing projects that I work on daily. I’m editing my next book, writing the one after that, writing this blog, working on a secret project yet to be announced, and working on another secret project yet to be announced. That’s five, right?
I do this in addition to my regular full-time job, which is, as I’ve stated, full time. That means that every hour I’m not at work, I’m in front of a computer screaming at the top of my lungs and writing gfeislajdocndb a lot.
Why do I do it, you ask? It’s fun. That’s the main reason. It’s hard to explain how something can be all-consuming, soul crushing, agonizing and also fun, but that’s what writing is like. If you haven’t tried it before, you should. There are no rules (no matter what the government tells you) and there is no way to do it wrong. Just write!
Hey, did I mention I wrote a book? That I wrote six books? Wow amazing a link! What if you clicked on it? Wouldn’t that be fun?
